OLIVIA SHORT FILM by Martin Gama

Hiiii!!! Martin Herrera here speaking to you from the Future.... We completed the fundraising goal for the short film "OLIVIA" !!!! It was a long journey but at the end it was achieved. However the question is how it was achieved, well the answer is very simple but let's go for a little more extensive explanation.

I always have liked all kinds of ARTS , first I discovered MUSIC , then I discovered DANCE and now since about 4 years ago I discovered MOVIES . Through art I express myself and I like to transmit to people what I think and above all to ENTERTAIN. I am currently studying in CANADA, in a school called Infocus Film School. I have been studying for 9 intense months all the branches of cinema and the one that interests me the most is Directing and Writing . However to make films you need MONEY... That's why MARTIN from the past needs money to make his film in which the money will be for: LOCATION PERMITS, EQUIPMENT FOR FILMING, PRODUCTION DESIGN, CUSTOMES, FOOD, POSTERS and DISTRIBUTION IN ORDER TO ENTER FILM FESTIVALS (which also cost money...)

I have been working on the development of this film for 4 months.

Here is the SYNOPSIS:

A child psychologist suffers from a fatal heart disease, she will have to decide whether to continue denying that she will die in 3 days or accept it and live to the end. Six months ago Olivia had her first heart attack where she almost lost her life, the doctors gave her a final date, the internal grief and the lack of desire to continue with her life does not let her enjoy her last moments of the present. During the last few weeks Olivia has stopped seeing everyone, she no longer goes out, does not socialize and has not told anyone about her illness. In the course and countdown to the end; she will have her last session with her patient of many years Keila and Ollie. They will show Olivia that no matter how dark the moment is, she can still brighten her days no matter where she is or no matter if her problem doesnt have a solution.

GENRE: Melodrama

¡Hola! Martin Herrera les habla desde el Futuro.... 

¡¡¡Hemos completado el objetivo de recaudación de fondos para el cortometraje "OLIVIA" !!! Ha sido un largo camino pero al final se ha conseguido. Sin embargo, la pregunta es cómo se logró, bueno la respuesta es muy sencilla pero vamos por una explicación un poco más extensa.

Siempre me ha gustado todo tipo de ARTES, primero descubrí la MUSICA, luego descubrí la DANZA y desde hace 4 años descubrí el CINE. A través del arte me expreso y me gusta transmitir a la gente lo que pienso y sobre todo ENTRETENER‍. Actualmente estoy estudiando en CANADÁ, en una escuela llamada Infocus Film School.

Llevo 9 intensos meses estudiando todas las ramas del cine y la que más me interesa es Dirección y Escritura. Pero para hacer cine se necesita DINERO... Por eso MARTIN del pasado necesita dinero para: PERMISOS DE LOCACION, EQUIPAMIENTO PARA FILMAR, DISEÑO DE PRODUCCIÓN, DISEÑO DE PRODUCCIÓN, COMIDA, POSTERS y DISTRIBUCION PARA ENTRAR A FESTIVALES DE CINE (que también cuestan dinero...)

Llevo 4 meses trabajando en el desarrollo de esta película.

Aquí está la SINOPSIS:

Una psicóloga infantil sufre una enfermedad cardiaca mortal, tendrá que decidir si seguir negando que morirá en 3 días o aceptarlo y vivir hasta el final. Hace 6 meses Olivia tuvo su primer infarto donde casi pierde la vida, los médicos le dieron una fecha final, el duelo interno y la falta de ganas de seguir con su vida no la deja disfrutar de sus últimos momentos del presente. Durante las últimas semanas Olivia ha dejado de ver a todo el mundo, ya no sale, no socializa y no le ha hablado a nadie de su enfermedad. En el transcurso y cuenta atrás hacia el final, tendrá su última sesión con sus pacientes de muchos años Keila y Ollie. Ellos le mostrarán a Olivia que no importa lo oscuro que sea el momento, ella aún puede alegrar sus días sin importar dónde se encuentre o si su problema no tiene solución.
