Still in the process of setting this up. Basicaly the funds will be used improve Camp Marriott and/or create a scholarship for current and past Marriott staff.
Owen ‘OJ’ worked at Camp Marriott of the Goshen Scout Reservation from 1985-1999. He held many positions while working at the camp from Scoutcraft Instructor to Program Director. His infectious sprit of hard work and a positive mental attitude spread throughout the staff and campers who came into contact with him. OJ had a special way of mentoring those around him to become better versions of themselves and to grow their own unique leadership skills.
He often spoke that while he took on more leadership that his heart and desire was always to work directly with the scouts. His love for revealing interesting possibilities with scout craft projects is something that those who worked with him and who were taught by him will carry always. It can be said that he left us all better than he found us.
