Marwa Adib is tirelessly working in Al Aqsa's Martyrs Hospital, filled with constant bombardment leading to an overwhelming number of critically injured patients. Marwa is exhausting all her energy and abilities into providing life-saving critical care to those injured by the ongoing genocide.

As Israeli occupation forces continue their ethnic cleansing campaign, the situation in Gaza has reached the boiling point. Hospitals are being bombed to rubble, yet still doing their all to treat wounded civilians with dwindling and limited medical supplies. Marwa is on the frontlines, battling against all odds to provide essential medical care.

A message from Marwa:

Hello, my name is Marwa. I am a 27-year-old nurse working in the ICU at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al Balah, Gaza. My family consists of my mother, father, three sisters: Nada, Asmaa, and Mariam, and two brothers: Mohammed and Ayman.

Since the beginning of the war, I have remained steadfast in my duty, even as my family was temporarily displaced from the central region to the south before returning to our home.

Before the war, we were diligently working to build our own home using my father’s savings from his job. However, the war halted everything, and debts began to accumulate for the incomplete house. We were renting a home but had to leave it to accommodate a displaced family, moving into our incomplete house.
