Not So Broken
We can all see that our world carries its share of brokenness. At times, that reality can leave us feeling overwhelmed or powerless to make a difference. Yet the good news is that God is already at work, reconciling all things to himself and restoring what has been broken.
The Gathering at LauraLi's (a missional community of Awaken Church) is partnering with members of New Covenant Presbyterian Church, Grace Bible Church and Hagans Community Church to form a team of about 20 volunteers for a mission trip to the rural town of Fairmont, West Virginia providing humanitarian aid to local families in need.
The team's primary ministry focus during our week-long trip (June 13th -20th) will be improving the living conditions for residents who lack the resources to maintain their homes. By offering practical assistance and compassionate support, we hope to make a meaningful difference in the community. We will help repair what is visibly broken, while trusting God to reveal needs that may be less apparent.
We are seeking financial contributions to help cover our trip expenses, including travel, accommodations, meals, and necessary repair materials. Your support will directly enable our team to restore hope and dignity through hands-on community service.
As God brings renewal, we may discover that things are not so broken after all.
