Northampton Shire Cyclone Children's Appeal
Donation protected
Northampton and Kalbarri have both been devastated with over 70% of homes uninhabitable following the destructive path of Tropical Cyclone Seroja. There are many accounts of families sheltering from the storm. Families hid under their house, whilst others sheltered underneath mattresses in their bathtubs.
Some families have lost everything that they own. The community is resilient and helping one another with the clean up efforts.
Once schools are deemed safe, children will return with or without uniforms and necessary equipment.
We are asking for any donations big or small to allow us to provide some small comfort to the children during these trying times. We aim to assist the schools P&C’s to provide uniforms. As well as purchasing school equipment and toys and hopefully bring a smile to their faces.
