Chiropractic Mission Trip to Merida

Friends & Family,

Thank you for taking the time in supporting me in my dreams of becoming the best Doctor of Chiropractic I can possibly be. I am excited for the opportunity to serve thousands in Mexico and put these healing hands to work, and share my passion with the world. Please explore a little bit more about my story and upcoming Chiropractic mission trip below.

Chiropractic & Me:

My Chiropractic journey started 18,000 ft in the sky. I was working in Orlando, a couple years out of undergrad when I picked up hobby of skydiving (mother was not thrilled). While the plane was climbing up to altitude, I was engaged in conversation with a man I've never met before, asking me about myself and my life. This man could sense how I felt, stagnant and unsure of my next steps. In an instant, the next 10 seconds of my life would change everything. This man turns towards me and says "you should look into Chiropractic" and jumps out the plane.

Within a week I was in contact with Chiropractic schools across the nation and in a short 3 months, I quit my job, broke my lease, packed my Jeep and moved half way across the country to Dallas with my dog to start Parker University of Chiropractic in the fall. I have now been at Parker for 2 years, developing my skills and fueling my passion to help, heal, and serve. I can safely say this is the best decision I have ever made.

Chiropractic (meaning “done by hand”) is a safe and effective method of healing that emphasizes and enhances the body’s ability to heal itself. By interacting with the Nervous System through precise and specific Adjustments, many positive changes can be made in someone’s health and life. This is the gift that has been given to me that I will share to the world.

When & Where:

From August 21st through August 26th, 2020, I have the opportunity implement the knowledge and skills I have acquired underneath the mentorship of Dr. Ricardo Dominguez as we serve thousands of people in the communities of & around Merida Mexico. Not only will we be able to help heal those in need of medical care, this will also allow me the opportunity to develop my skills as a clinician and further my training in the Chiropractic profession.

Cost:

The cost of the Mexico Mission Trip is $700. This will provide for transportation & lodging while there. I was able to find airfare for $510. I have set my goals for this trip at $1,500 to allow for supplies like sanitizing equipment, face paper, clean water, & food. I am grateful for any & every amount donated towards my journey and in the event the total donated is above my goal, 100% of the fund will go towards the next chapter in my Chiropractic journey.

Thank you for being apart of my Chiropractic Journey.
