Greetings to you, our potential charitable partner,
First off, on behalf of the entire NorCal Ducks Youth Organization, we sincerely thank you for taking a moment of your time to take consideration in making a charitable contribution to our cause. Our success hinges on the support of our community members in providing the very best experience and creating new opportunities that our community youth deserve.
The NorCal Ducks Youth Organization is a first year non-profit organization that has been formed for the primary benefit of today’s participating youth, ranging from ages 4-15, with a primary focus in competitive youth football and cheerleading.
It is our purpose to instill the values and principles of excellence, integrity, self-discipline, confidence,
sportsmanship, and courage in all our young athletes.
Through our interaction with these youths utilizing our
specialized collaborative program, we have the expectations to not only create a positive competitive environment to create,test and improve their current athletic abilities, but to help develop positive models of conduct within themselves, as well as how these youths interact socially among their peers.
Our mission is to work with as many youths as possible who have a desire to be a part of something special, and to nurture that desire into a tangible athletic ability that these youths can be proud of. The improved healthy safe
exercise and increased self-esteem will lead to an increase in the quality of life for these youths on the field and off the field, now and for future years to come.
One of core principles is that “No Child Is Left Behind”, so we believe that every child that has a drive and passion to become an important part of something special, and also would like to take part in an activity that promotes a healthy lifestyle in a positive team environment, should have that opportunity. Which is why, for families that qualify, we have a hardship sponsorship program that will assist in paying part or in whole a child’s registration fees, uniform, and equipment. A program first of it’s kind to Northern California Youth Football/Cheer.
Another core principle is “Books Over Balls”, in which we believe that academics are just as important to each
child’s well being as positive competitive youth sports. Thus, for our young athletes we have acquired tutoring
services for our participants to assist them in maintaining our standard to academic eligibility.
We believe in improving the quality of life for every one of our athletes, and that includes improving their health
both mentally and physically. A lot of training will be instructed to every child, as we are a competitive sport yet we have coaching staff that is focused on building each child up, and our goal is to have every player meet and exceed their own potential.
“Each One, Teach One, Reach One”, is a key principle to our training program, and with that we know and understand every child is different and each child may have different abilities and/or disabilities. For
this reason, this organization ensures the coaching staff is experienced and is carefully selected to work with kids of all ages and uniqueness.
We are association members of the largest youth league in the United States. The AYF(American Youth
Football)/AYC(American Youth Cheer) league is an excellent opportunity for our kids, as it elevates the level of competition as well as expands the scope of competition as we not only strive to attain titles at the state level, but on a national level as well.
We are also new members of NYAA, the “NCAA” of youth football, first ever in Northern California, which is
made possible by the NSR(National Sports Report) who are partners with FBU, the association that is responsible for extending college scholarships to young athletes that excel athletically and academically even as young as 11 years old. This is one of the greatest opportunities that has ever came to this part of the North State, and we need your help to make the dreams of these kids to become a reality.
Please consider that no matter what amount you contribute, you are investing in the most priceless commodity there is, your community’s youth. You will be an integral part in paving the way for the success of their future.
Our season begin July 24th with the first day of practice, and in the not so distant future we will travel to our first
game to take place in Sacramento on September 2nd.
We have a most urgent need to begin ordering safety equipments, and uniforms as our first priority. After that we can pay for operational expenses to run and maintain this organization’s goals and purpose, such as field use, paying for maintenance of the field, and transportation for example.
As a first year organization the seas of financial stability have not been calm ones, yet as a team, as an organization, and especially as a community, I know deep in my heart, we will make it through this storm and the calm waters of uncharted territory and be one of the biggest success stories to go down in history!
We are happy to have every youth athlete with us as a NorCal Duck, and we have many players who otherwise would not be able to have this opportunity due to financial situations they have no control over, and so we rest it on our shoulders, not just as an organization but as a community, to give back for all the blessings we have been bestowed and to pay it foward for all the instances of kindness we were given to get ourselves through times of hardships. Every child should be able to play, and be given the same opportunities as anyone else willing to put in hard work, with your help we can make this dream a reality, this hope and belief into fact.
