Noon Academy would like to thank our community for your support during our Ramadan fundraising campaign.

As you know we have a goal of raising $312,000 to support the shortfall in our centers operating expenses.  

We would like to thank all of you who donated to help keep our center open.

By the grace of Allah swt, we have raised $237k.

We need now only 25 more families to pledge $3000 in shares to raise. We need to close this gap before September inshAllah.

Let’s work together to get this done so that we can focus on a project of a permanent Islamic School and Community Center.

Noon Academy is a Masjid, Community Center, and Islamic School operating under our Charitable organization, Dar Almaliky.

Here are some financial realities about Noon Academy we’d like you to be aware of:

Noon Academy has always been chronically underfunded, without community support the entire center is at risk.

There are 3 key fundraising windows that Noon Academy depends on:

o Lailatul Ihsan Annual Gala

o Good Friday

o Ramadan

Good Friday is currently within Ramadan so we have a limited window to raise funds. With these events the center collects enough in donations to continue to operate and pay the rent.

FUNDRAISING GOAL:

With our successful fundraising over the last few years the community has come through to help keep Noon operating. However, with rising inflation and continued growth, including the high school expansion, our expenses have increased dramatically.

Noon Academy is asking for community assistance to raise $310k dollars to help with operating costs of the Masjid and School as follows:

Building cost (remainder of year) $186,000

Payroll to end of June $466,000

General Admin costs $60,000

= $712,000

Revenue = $400,000

Deficit = $312000

What’s at Risk:

The center has become a central part of the community. A place of vital religious and moral education. At Noon Academy the entire family can learn, play, volunteer, and pray together. The center has in particular become a safe haven and a second family for all of our youth.

WHO WE ARE:

Noon Academy has served as a spiritual home for over 10 years and many families have benefitted from this Masjid and Elementary and High School.

Noon Academy is a masjid and a welcoming community center with educational services for adults, intensive youth courses, and weekly religious studies programs for children, all designed to educate and stimulate minds with ideas grounded in Islamic scholarly traditions.
