Team Nomads with Gonads

This July, a handful of ambitious and rumbunctious young men plan to drive a 1.2 Litre Suzuki Wagon R  15,000km from Holland to Mongolia to raise money and awareness for Men’s Health.

The Team:

Nate - a 23-year-old American university grad who has put off a desk job for at least a few  years to see the world in the prime of his life. After a year and a half that saw him live in New Zealand and see a good bit of Asia, he couldn't say no once he heard about the absurdity and grandeur of the Mongol Rally.
Freek - a 26-year-old from the Netherlands who loves to see new things and operate motorized vehicles with great velocity.  This road trip serves as the ultimate for him as he gets to drive a great distance while  spending time with his best friends.
Tomas -  This 26-year-old Dutchman is up for anything that promises excitement and a good story.  The wild sentiment that has led him to Australia, New Zealand and some odd corners of Asia is the same driving force that will happily put him in the Suzuki come July.
Richard - a 28-year-old from the north of Ireland who has spent the better half of the last decade scanning the globe for proper craic (the "fun").  Between surfing through Indonesia and the Philippines, working in Australia for a few years and ripping a scooter through the rest of Asia, there isn't much this Irishman hasn't seen.  Still, he feels like he's just scratching the surface and hopes the Mongol Rally satisfies his want to see a new part of the world, and have a good time doing it.
Andy - This 24-year-old American has been keen to the entire rally from the inception of Nomads with Gonads, but his impressive job in global security gives him limited time off and more importantly, the wherewithal to know to not go further than Istanbul.  While he will only be present for the first week of the trip, he will undoubtly live big during his tenure in the Suzuki.

The Story:

In November of 2016, Richard, Nate and the Dutch boys met at random in Vietnam on a three day tour of Ha Long Bay.  After a few beers on the second night, it seemed absurd to motorbike the 2200kms from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Mihn City in any other way than as a group. The next six weeks forged the boys as great mates and more importantly, wildly compatible travel companions. Three months later, it took Nate ten hours from hearing about the Mongol Rally to full on committing to doing it in 2018. He contacted the guys who he knew were just as crazy as him, and within a few months the squad was formed and Nomads with Gonads was born.

The Money (in USD):
