Funds needed for medicines and Dr bills

Story

Summer and Ben's 12 year old son, Noah, was admitted into Dell Children's Hospital (Austin, TX) on March 21, 2014. Noah was diagnosed with DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis), basically his body was shutting down; this was caused by undiagnosed Type 1 Diabetes, which lead to other severe complications; (1) Clostridium Difficile, bacteria in gut (2) Colitis, inflammation in large intestine (3) Pyelonephritis, kidney infection (4) Pseudomonas Infection, bacteria in the blood and (5) Anaphylactic reaction to plasma transfusion. Noah was discharged from Dell on April 12, 2014 and has been through so much in the past month, he is a brave young man and pulled through in the fight for his life and is impressing everyone with a speedy recovery. Summer is a childhood friend of mine. As a mother myself, my heart hurts for Summer and her family having to face the pain, emotions, decisions, sacrifices and financial burden that this disease/additional complications and extended hospital stay is causing in their lives. I applaud Summer, Ben and Noah's brother, Jake, for doing everything possible to remain positive and support Noah the best they can. Even with insurance and assistance Dell has suggested; treatment, medications (currently waiting on 9), living expenses, extra travel and food, this family could really use some financial outside help during this difficult time. Any donation amount to the Cottrell family will be a huge blessing during their time of need. Thank you for visiting the donation link... -But mostly, PLEASE continue to keep Noah, his family and his team of Doctors and Nurses in your thoughts and prayers!!!
