Hi! I'm coach Phill, and i'm running the San Diego Marathon! 

I've been lucky enough to have played and coached soccer for the past 30 years. The journey all began with my first coach who helped me find my desire for the beautiful game. 

Having coached me as a player over two decades, given me my first coaching job and been a mentor ever since, I owe so much to Dave Turner. 

I was very saddened to learn last year that Dave had passed away from a sudden Heart failure. I've been searching for something to honor his hard work, dedication and passion for the game and carry on spreading his work within my comminuty.

His passion was providing the opportunity for all children to play the game that has given us so much. 
Money raised from my efforts in this Marathon, future races and events, will be used to provide camps and clinics for children with disabilities across Los Angeles.  The first clinic is due to run in August located in Redondo Beach, CA.

I appreciate any donations and cant wait to be able to keep my mentors dream alive here in Southern California. Soccer has given so many of us a lifetime of enjoyment, please help me in providing this opportunity for children with disabilities in our local community.
