No Fear Nolan

On Friday, May 13th, Tara and Mike Brouwer were told that their 14 week old baby boy, Nolan, has Neuroblastoma. This is a rare cancer found in children and it is believed that it may be stage 4. At this point, they are administering chemotherapy in hopes that it will shrink the tumors on the right side of his liver and above his left kidney. Once this happens, his oncologist will perform a biopsy on the tumor for more accurate information.
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as this is a terrifying and uncertain time for them. Currently, Nolan is getting ready to start his 4th consecutive day of chemotherapy. His spirits are up and he keeps smiling at his mommy and daddy even though he isn't feeling very well.
As you can imagine, this will be a long journey for them. Tara had just recently returned to work after being on maternity leave for 13 weeks, Mike will be missing a lot of work too and the medical bills will be adding up quickly. We would like to lighten that burden for them and allow their minds to only think about Nolan at this time. All money raised will go directly to Mike and Tara so that they can care for their sweet baby boy.
