Eagle Project: Niyal's Memorial
Donation protected
My name is David D’Amico and I am member of Boy Scout Troop 233, San Jose, CA. It's been 7 years since I joined the troop and ALL my experiences, training and leadership roles have brought me to this pinnacle of scouting, my Eagle Project!
Eagle rank is the highest honor one can receive in the Boy Scouts. In order to reach this goal, I must complete a service project that would benefit my community.
For my project, I will construct a memorial site at Prospect High School. This memorial will serve as a reminder of how Prospect High School student, Niyal Sanghi, impacted the lives of fellow students and the community.
My plans are to construct a new pathway leading to 2 granite benches next to a newly planted crepe myrtle tree.
Niyal was adventurous, kind and funny. Niyal’s passion for photography was apparent as you could find him clicking away in picturesque San Francisco and the awesome skyline of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

This commemorative site I am building at Prospect HS will provide the community a special place to think of Niyal and his artistic spirit.
Thank you again for your contributions and positive thoughts!
