After recent job loss, I've fallen behind on rent and car payments. Despite doing everything I can to hold things together, there is no such thing as a backup plan when you live in poverty. The eviction timeline is now urgent and I am desperately seeking help with mutual aid to keep me and the kiddo safely housed.

For a single & disabled parent, losing income does not just mean a temporary setback. Rent, car payments, groceries, phone/wifi and the everyday needs of a child all continue, even when a paycheck suddenly stops.

Any mutual aid raised will go directly toward our urgent housing crisis and trying to keep my vehicle. Without my car I can’t work or provide school transportation.

Eviction can be devastating for any family, but especially for a low income single mother. A short-term crisis can quickly become long-term instability without help.
