On September 16, 2025, Ryan E. Nitka, only 36 years old, passed away unexpectedly. His loss leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of his beloved wife Molly, their two young sons, Jackson and Matthew, his parents, and the many family and friends who loved him.
Ryan was the kind of partner Molly once described as someone who “makes you laugh when all you want to do is cry, tells you it’s all going to be okay, lets you have the last bite, hugs you like they’ll never let go, and loves you for all that you are.” He was steady, supportive, and kind; a man who celebrated life’s joys with unmatched devotion.
In their years together, Ryan and Molly built a marriage rooted in faith, resilience, and love. They marked milestones both ordinary and extraordinary. Most recently, they had the incredible joy of welcoming children into their family! Jackson Henry, officially adopted in May 2024, made them a family of three. Then, this June, their miracle baby Matthew Jeffrey arrived, a blessing who surprised them with an early entrance and filled their home with even more love.
Ryan was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loving son. He poured himself into his family, and also found joy in being present for his nephews. The way he always showed up is a true reflection of the deep care he carried for everyone he loved. His legacy will be one of unwavering commitment to the people who meant the most to him.
Now, Molly faces the unimaginable task of moving forward while raising two little boys without the man who was not only her best friend, but also the center of their family.
This GoFundMe has been created to help cover immediate expenses and to provide support for Molly, Jackson, and Matthew in the days ahead. Your generosity will help ease the financial burden as Molly navigates this heartbreaking new chapter.
If you are not comfortable donating through GoFundMe but still wish to help, Target gift cards are also deeply appreciated, as they help provide for day-to-day necessities for Molly and the boys.
On behalf of the Nitka Family, thank you for your love, prayers, and support. Ryan’s life was a gift, and your kindness helps honor his memory by caring for the family he treasured most.
