Hello everyone.
I'm Nicholas Capra's sister Lisa Marie Capra – Pedicone. My brother passed away suddenly of a massive heart attack on December 23nd 2021.
Nicky doesn't have any wife or children and I would feel honored to give him a Christian burial. This request will be for his final expenses.
He wanted nothing more than to be buried next to our mother in Queen of Heaven.
Nicky always worked, through his good times & bad. He loved driving. Years after the rail yard closed up, he worked as a trolly driver. He was very proud & took great care of all the folks he was responsible for. He took a lot of pride in that trolly, as if it were his own. Chances are, if you rode a trolly for an event in the Chicago area in the last 20 years, Nicky may have been your operator/driver. Like many of you also experienced, work had slowed down - almost to nothing over the past 2 years. But his love for the trolly industry kept him hanging in there.
Nicky also drove as a delivery driver for Lukes in Elmwood Park, where we grew up. If you ordered delivery from Lukes on Harlem, Nicky may have delivered that food to you. He did anything to make do.

He ALWAYS lent out a hand when asked. He spent his spare time watching his nieces & nephews. Picked up stray animals, fed them gave them shelter & found them a home. For 20 years he cared for our mother who suffered from diabetes & heart disease. Even took care of me when I had cancer 13 years ago. However, Nicky did suffer from depression for 50 brutal years & this inevitably caused many hardships throughout the years.
Without insurance, the final expenses are 100% out of pocket & I am hoping to do anything I can to try to fulfill his wishes. This is where you can come in. Any donation is helpful. But if you're not in a position to donate, your share can be worth just as much.
We also ask for your prayers & light as my family & I deal with this sudden loss &, at what is supposed to be, the happiest time of year.
