At the tender ages of 15 and 7, Imani and KImora watched their mom, Nickie fight and lose her battle to breast cancer. Not only did they lose their mother, they loss their best friend and role model. Nickie was the center of their world; a kind, caring and doting mother.
When Nickie had to say goodbye to her girls, it had to be the most painful experience a mother could face. There had to be millions of thoughts that crossed her mind: who will be there to plan their sweetsixteen, cheer them on at graduation, help them pick out their wedding dress, and just be the listening ear and shoulder to lean on as they deal with lifes ups and downs.
What Nickie may not have realized is that while she can never be replaced, her daughters's will always have the support of her amazing friends and family. Nickie's hard work in raising her two beautiful girls will not be in vain. Please help us in any way that you can . We are truly grateful for your generosity.
