The Bearcat family thanks each and every one of you for the tremendous outpouring of support shown to the Turner family this week.
We need your support to continue to reach higher. Please know that the full costs of Nick's funeral services must be covered. We can help the Turner family by supporting the memory of Nick.
In an effort to assist our family members, a fund has been established to cover funeral expenses, with any additional funds going directly to the family in their time of need.
We thank the entire Bearcat family for your continued generosity and selflessness. Your passion and love knows no bounds and is a tremendous testament to the Power of the Paw.
Remembering Nick
Nick Turner was a special young man. A gentle giant off the field, he was always the first to make the youngest fans feel the most-special after a game. Evident through his million-dollar smile, Nick's love for his family, team and the game of football was immeasurable.

A standout student-athlete from Hazelwood East in St. Louis, Mo., Nick was named team captain as a junior and senior for the Spartans, going on to be selected for the Missouri vs. Illinois All-Star Game.
Soon after graduating high school and committing to Northwest to continue his football career, Nick was selected to represent his country as a member of the USA U-19 National Football Team. Nick and Team USA went on to capture gold in the American Football World Championships during the summer of 2014.

As a member of the Bearcat football team, Nick was a beloved teammate. Often described by his teammates as "one of the hardest workers you will ever meet," Nick was determined to reach the highest levels of success.
And that he did. As a member of the 2015 National Championship Bearcat football team, Nick played an integral part of a stifling defense during the team's playoff run. His pass-rushing prowess began to blossom as Nick provided momentum-changing plays at just the right time for his team on their way to the mountaintop.

An ever-caring individual, Nick's love for his team was surpassed only by the love for his family.
