Newton Family Home Burned Down

My parents Kirk and Linda Newton’s home, my childhood home in Friendswood, Texas—burned down today in an electrical fire. 

Thankfully no one was home or injured, but the entire house is destroyed, including everything in it. What didn’t melt from the fire, has to be throw away from smoke damage.

If you grew up around our family you know this house well, many of you even lived here for periods of time, whether you were down on your luck, had a tough home life, or simply needed a place to stay. We were that house for so many people. We were the house that always fed you if you were hungry or took you in during your time of need.  And although my parents would never ask for help, it’s their turn. I know they’re still in a state of shock and devastation, but I wanted to start this fund for them ASAP to get them back on their feet so they can rebuild their home and their lives again.
