Help Us Build A Wildlife Clinic

For over five years now, I have remodeled much of my home and yard to care for injured and orphaned wildlife across the state of Massachusetts.

I have used my family car to capture mangey foxes and bring them back to my rescue. I have hidden my address, since it is my home. Though many people have been to my home and know where I live.

I recently dealt with an upset neighbor, which caused our rescue a great deal of stress and was quite the scare. We can not build anymore enclosures with the space we have. We have maxed out what we can do in this residential space.

We can not grow any more here. We receive animals that are on death’s door, late at night, and there isn’t always a vet close by that is able to come and help.

I never imagined the rescue getting as big as it has - but the need has been great, the support has been there and the desire to help is there.

I’m daring to dream, guys and I’m dreaming big…

The next step for Newhouse is a wildlife clinic with a public address and a full time veterinarian on staff.

Animal control officers also need a place close by they can go to for help - besides my garage.

I designed a wildlife clinic with my staff. I have found a contractor willing to build this unique place. There are two plots of land I am currently looking at.

It’s going to be expensive. The average cost to start a veterinary clinic is $1,000,000. We believe we can build a wildlife clinic and get it started for $750,000. This will include the building the clinic, the equipment we will need to purchase, building new enclosures. and a new rescue vehicle. I am making the goal on GoFundMe $500,000 as I believe some funds will come from other areas.

This is the biggest goal I’ve had for Newhouse - but honestly, we just can’t expand anymore where we are - yet the need continues to grow…

Will you stand by us when we do this? Will you help us? Many of you have been following me long enough to know I see these things through. I’m sure many of you know how desperately we need another wildlife clinic in Massachusetts.
