Wheelchair accessible van's are sadly much more expensive than those which are not converted. They are more than double the price of a standard minivan. I am a quadriplegic, and instead of a manual chair, I need a power wheelchair to get around. The wheelchair accessible van allows me to be independent and mobile while using the power wheelchair. The van I have is a 1998 Dodge Caravan  that has served me well. Unfortunately, in the past several years it has broken down so many times that it has become unreliable. Therefore, it is, at times, dangerous for me to drive. Although it's hurts my pride to ask for funds, I've accepted the fact that I do need to reach out to the folks I know for their assistance.

If it is in your heart please help me raise the funds necessary for the purchase of a new van.
