The New Jerusalem Home was started for children who need a safe place to live, daily food to eat, clothes to wear, the opportunity to go to school, and most importantly to minister to their hearts and spiritual needs.

New Jerusalem is in need of a truck to transport the children to and from school, to and from the sports field and other events outside of the home, shopping for daily food and transporting any materials needed. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the truck before March 2023 so they can prepare and be ready for the new school year.

The children at New Jerusalem come from all different backgrounds; most are not documented in Thailand due to their life circumstances. There are 20 girls and 31 boys for a total of about 50 children at New Jerusalem. All of these children come from Myanmar, but some from different regions such as Kachin State, Karenni State, Rangoo division, and Dawei Township area. ⅓ of the children are orphans, ⅓ are from single parents, and the rest of the children come from very needy families.

New Jerusalem gives these children opportunities they might have never had before. Instead of working and worrying about where they will sleep and what they will eat, they are able to attend school and be poured into by their host parents, Joshua and Momoko. Joshua and Momoko love the Lord and were faithful in their calling to start this home. Their hearts are to share the love and salvation of Jesus Christ with these children. They teach them how to have a Christ-like character and encourage them to have a Good Samaritan heart. They want them to grow to care and help each other.
