Thankfully Spencer’s powerpack is fully operational now and he’s enjoying hydrotherapy every fortnight.

Unfortunately our awning has broken. The awning was fundraised for back in 2008. It has been an absolute godsend. Spence can’t regulate his body temperature and gets hot very quickly. The awning covers his bedroom window and living room giving him a cool environment in this hot weather. It has done well for 17 years but now the arm has broken and we are unable to use it.

It is nearly as much to get it all fixed up (as it also needs new material) as it is to buy a new one. I have had 2 quotes and we need to find approximately £4500.

So once again I am calling upon your compassion and generosity to keep Spence cool.
