"Behold, I am making all things new..."
The Nevels Temple C.O.G.I.C is Renovating! Nestled in the Historical Wick Park District on the Northside of Youngstown, Ohio minutes away from the beautiful Y.S.U campus. Built in 1960 as a Jewish Temple, Bishop Emmitt Nevels Sr. needing more room for his growing ministry stepped out on faith and purchased this glorious edifice in 1977. 40 years of building God's body, it is now time to fix his house! Bishop Nevels and the Nevels Temple family has been a mainstay in the community offering a place of worship, healing and solace for those in need. Thousands of souls have walked under those pillars and through those double glass doors to find comfort and walked out comforted with a new love for life. Bishop Nevels prays tirelessly for the city of Youngstown having brought in the police and fire departments to honor and pray God's protection. He has honored and prayed for city officials, teachers and even motorcycle clubs doing his part in trying to heal this city.
We humbly come to you seeking donations to heal God's house. We have been patching up and painting to maintain but we are now in dire need of major renovations. Our goal is to raise 1 Million dollars for the demo, rehab and new construction. If you have ever stepped foot into this historical building you would see the beauty and history we are trying to preserve. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and God will be sure to bless you.
