I've signed up to Tour de 4 - a ride set up following Sir Chris Hoy's diagnosis with Stage 4 cancer - its purpose: to demonstrate that a Stage 4 diagnosis, while devastating, doesn't define the limits of what's possible.

Chris' vision is to bring together people who have been affected by cancer - whether directly or indirectly - to challenge perceptions, raising vital awareness and funds, and inspiring hope for everyone affected by cancer; and to participate in this amazing challenge with 4 routes - all starting and finishing at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow.

Knowing first hand the devastation that ALL cancer causes to individuals and families, it's a no brainer to enter this ride.

I'm tackling the 56 mile (90km) route; with over 1000 metres of climbing, raising vital funds for Pancreatic Cancer in memory of Pauline - Naomi's mum.
