Help a dog with his human
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Huey — part-time nature lover, full-time quadriplegic, and proud dog dad to a four-legged freeloader who snores louder than I do.
A while back, life decided to sucker-punch me straight into a wheelchair. Fun, right? Since then, I’ve been surviving, but I’d like to start living again — preferably somewhere that smells like pine trees and not medical-grade hand sanitizer.
Here’s the dream: I found a handicap-accessible bus that could take me and my dog out of the house and into the wild. Campfires. Starry skies. Me, yelling at squirrels. The good stuff.
I've already scraped together what I can (turns out disability checks don’t exactly cover off-road freedom machines), but I need help purchasing the bus and making it safe and functional for someone who now has to think way too hard about curbs, doorways, and gravel.
This bus isn’t about luxury — I’m not trying to join van life influencers with hammocks and mood lighting. I just want to get back to the woods, eat slightly burnt hot dogs, and feel like a human being again. One with wheels.
So if you’ve ever wanted to help someone flip off fate, this is your chance. Every dollar gets me closer to the open road, and further from watching another episode of a home renovation show I’ll never use.
Thanks for reading. Thanks for caring. And thanks for helping me and my dog escape this four-walled prison (aka my living room).
Sincerely,
Huey & Biggie
