After a few weeks of illness on Father’s Day Natalia ended in the Yale ED getting an MRI which led to news no one wants to hear about a 7 year old little girl. She had a mass in her brain that spread to hear spine. That mass was cancer and needed to be removed. 3 days after the MRI she had the tumor removed. The biopsy shows she has Medulloblastoma leptomeningeal Metz. While the surgery to remove the mass is over Nati has a very long road ahead of her. She will get her port July 1st and then need to be at Sloan Kettering 5 days a week for at least 6 weeks for radiation. She will then start get 4 weeks off before starting up Chemo. This cancer is very aggressive. At this time we would like to give Erika and Nephty one less thing to worry about during all this. They will both be missing work to be with Natalia every minute they can be. We will be providing updates as we get them. Please consider donating to help this family out.
