The Roof of the World was easier than the Roof of a House

Donation protected
My name is Todd Patrick. I live with my first cousin, Nathaniel Smelser, and have set up this GoFundMe account for his benefit. While making repairs to the roof of a house, he slipped and fell to the ground, breaking his left wrist in four places and breaking his right elbow severely. After consulting an orthopedic doctor, he was informed the bones of both breaks had collapsed and would require surgery for both injuries. He was told that without these surgeries, he would almost certainly suffer permanent disabilities, deformities, and pain for the rest of his life. Neither he nor I have enough money to cover the costs of these expensive surgeries, and he has no insurance as well. He is also unemployed, so this was not a work-related accident.

Nathaniel is an amazing person. As a mountain climber, he has reached the summit of four of the tallest mountains in the world, on four different continents, including Mount Everest, on May 19, 2007. Since then, he has struggled with severe depression and was making progress toward a recovery when this accident occurred. Ironically, he reached the peak of the tallest, and most dangerous mountain in the world without incident, but reaching the peak of a one story house ended in disaster. Please donate if you can, and if not, please share this link with your social media, or with as many people as you can. God bless you.
