Nathaniel Newcombe, a beloved son, little brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend was taken from us unexpectedly and way too soon.
Family and friends usually called him ‘Nate’ or ‘Newcombe,’ with the occasional other nicknames of Big Nate and Nate Dawg. You could always count on him being the goofy, funny him who was always the life of the party. He loved spending time with his boys and always made time for his family no matter how far.
In November of 2020 Nate made a big move to Meridian, Idaho to attend the Northwest Lineman College and completed the program in January 2021. Right after he finished school he quickly received job offers and decided to stay in the Meridian/Boise area to start his career with QualTek. Work took him all over, from all different parts of Idaho, Oregon and Utah to Washington and even down to Vegas for training.
Nate was such a passionate guy; he loved skateboarding, basketball and soccer, all of his sports teams; the Dallas Cowboys, LA Lakers, and the Las Vegas Knights. He also had a passion for going to the gym and getting a good pump in with the boys, eating his mama and papas home cooked Filipino food, Bo Luc Lac, and all things chocolate.
Our hearts are broken as Nate leaves behind his parents, Eric and Cyndy, and his older sister Madelyn along with so many family and friends who cared and loved him deeply. During this difficult time the Newcombe family will need support financially to help cover Nate’s medical bills he has accrued, his student loan, funeral and any other costs that are involved in his passing. Any extra funds that are unused will be donated to a few different causes he was passionate about.
