Nathan Taylor a husband and a father to 3 young boys is a California Highway Patrol Officer.  Recently, he was hospitalized with major injuries after being hit by a SUV.

He was providing taffic control on Interstate 80 at Donner Summit after wrapping up a response to an earlier collision. He was was outside of his car when the vehicle struck him at the Castle Peak off-ramp. He is suffering from multiple injuries, including internal injuries and broken legs.
