After many months of searching, our family finally found the perfect home. Life was looking good for us, as we settled in and awaited for the arrival of our newest addition.

Unfortunately, this weekend a nightmare happened. Our house caught fire and it has been deemed unlivable. Thankfully, my family was able to escape. Although, most items have to be replaced due to fire, smoke, and water damage. We are now left homeless with a family of 4 kids to support and another baby due in October. There is never a good time to lose your home, but with the kids just starting school and Alisha 35 weeks pregnant it makes things more stressful and urgent. Alisha suffered severe burns to her right arm because she was trying to put out the fire and get our family out of the house safely; which is now making it difficult for her to return to work. We are asking friends, family, and our community to help us get back on our feet during these difficult times. Your generous donations will help us get back into a home to call our own.
