Stem Cells Treatment for my knee

Sport has been always part of my life and identity. I competed in triathlon since high school, culminating in podium places at the US National Championships as well as World Championships. In Hawaii, where I’ve lived for the last 8 years, I used to be one of the top triathletes and runners until I injured my left knee in 2015. Since then I stopped training and competing due to pain in my left knee joint. I’ve tried many conservative treatments that helped a little, but the main issue in my knee - wear and tear in my cartilage – prevents me from doing my sport. I am a big believer in regenerative medicine such as the capability of stem cells to regenerate soft tissues in our body. After doing a lot of research about stem cells and talking to people who had successful treatment with stem cells, I found a reliable doctor in Dallas who specializes in treating knee joints with stem cells injections. I already spoke to the doctor, who upon reviewing my MRIs, stated that I am a good candidate for the procedure. I have so much faith that stem cells will help my knee heal and I will be able to run and bike again. Unfortunately, no medical insurance pays for the treatment, and the cost of the procedure is $5,500. Please help me raise the necessary funds to cover the cost of the treatment.
