As some of you may know, my sister Natalie has recently been diagnosed with Bacterial Pneumonia. For those of you who didn’t know, she was rushed to the ER at Northside Forsyth last Wednesday due to extreme back pain, a migraine and excessive vomiting. After getting an MRI, CT-scan and a chest X-ray, along with many other tests, they finally diagnosed her with Bacterial Pneumonia. Being in isolation and having many reactions to her antibiotics and pain meds, her hospital stay wasn’t relaxing at all. We are currently waiting on other results from other symptoms; needless to say, we have a lot of unanswered questions.
Natalie was finally released from the hospital yesterday (Monday) after being in the hospital for 6 days. She will be going back in a week to have her blood levels rechecked because they are extremely low and in 3 weeks she will go have another chest X-ray done (to check on the massive amount of fluid in her right lung). Unfortunately, with symptoms still occurring at home, we have no idea how long this road of recovery will be.
Natalie has been blessed with all of you in her life and so many have asked how they can help. Right now, donations for her medical bills would help out tremendously. Natalie has a deductable of 6,000.00 and she’s already surpassed that deductable. As a single mom of 2 young children, I'm sure you can imagine that the stress of these bills will be crippling. In addition, Natalie has already had to take a pay cut in her weekly income as she hasn’t been able to work. So please, if you can, help us reach our goal of 6,000.00 so we can cover her medical expenses.
