Naomi's Battle Against Cancer

On the afternoon of Friday, July 21st what seemed like a non emergent trip to the doctors office forever changed this family's life. 4 year old Naomi had a fever and was thought to be constipated. Her mother, Elizabeth, took her to the pediatrician thinking nothing more. After a quick exam, the peditricain urged them to go to Children's hospital.

Once at the hospital, It was confirmed that there was tumor on Naomi's left kidney and spots on her lungs. A parent's worse nightmare.

On July 25th, Naomi underwent major surgery to remove the tumor, kidney, and surrounding inflamed cells. Additionally, chemo and radiation therapy will be starting as soon as she recovers from surgery. Naomi has a long road ahead as she bravely faces her treatment to kick cancer's butt!

Naomi is the middle child of three, to Andrew and Elizabeth Williams. Their "Girlie Girl" is fun loving, beautiful and has a heart of gold. This has turned their world upside down, yet they have remained strong and faith filled.
