Hi everyone!
If you're reading this, you most likely have been a part of our journey with Naomi at one point or another. But for those who we haven't had the joy of sharing our story with, here's a little tidbit:
Our sweet Naomi, now 2 years old, suffered brain damage during the labor and delivery process. She spent 50 days in the NICU. Although we witnessed miracles in her body and watched her overcome many obstacles in the hospital, she still faces daily reprocussions of her injury. There is more healing to be done, and we are so thankful to serve a God who will finish His work in her!
As you can imagine, time in the hospital + doctors' visits + weekly therapy sessions = many, many bills. Though insurance has covered a bulk of the cost, which we are so grateful for, we are still left with some outstanding debt. We have both had to scale back our work load and hours as caring for Naomi demands most of our time and energy. And although we are incredibly thankful to have that flexibility in our jobs, there has been a significant strain on our finances as medical bills and other costs pile up.
We have received incredible support and supernatural provision, both spiritually and materialistically, over the past 2 years without ever having to ask. We have been surrounded by such a wonderful community of family and friends! But we sense God is calling us to humble ourselves completely and reach out for help when we need it. During this season, our deepest need is monetary support.
We would love to pay off all outstanding debt to the hospital, doctors' offices, and therapy visits as soon as possible to relieve some of our financial burdens. This is where you come in! If you feel prompted to give, no matter how great or small, you will be giving such an incredible blessing to our family.* And if you're reading and not in the position to donate, we would still covet your prayers for Naomi and for our family, as those are so powerful! It's our prayer that whatever and however you decide to sew into our lives, it would be multiplied back to you 100 times over.
