A Family In Need!!!!
Vital Safety Services in the past year had the priviledge of having Eugene come into our office and offer to work for free while not attending school, just so he could gain experience and have the opportunity to bring his family to Canada and give them a better life. Eugene would go to school everday and then come into the office to perform extinguisher testing while working on the command of the english language and in the past number of months finally had the chance to bring his family over whom he hadnt seen in a very long time.
Just when you think things were tough enough just trying to make ends meet and struggling to take any wage and experience to ensure the best opportunity for his family, late last week things took a dramatic turn for the worse.....
His very young son had apparently taken a fall at school and what was originally thought of as a bad fall turned out that his young son has suffered a stroke. Early testing shows that he has lost all feeling and control to the right side of his face and suffering major issues with his arm and leg and as it turns out, thats why he fell and couldnt walk.
To make matters worse, they were not covered under OHIP, which means not only is Eugene's wife not working, having to be at the hospital for their son but it looks like medical bills may not be covered.
As a proud Canadian and Co-Owner of a company that tries to do the right thing, I ask that people reach out and help us support this family. Many people come to Canada and take advantage of the systems put in place and I can assure you that this family has worked extremely hard to even get a start and I know they would give the shirt off their back to help out anyone.
I ask that you consider making any possible donation you can to help out this family in need. I know we have some of the best and most caring people in this country that I call family and friends and I ask that if possible, to please make a donation to help this family in this time of need.
If you know any companies that may also be interested in reaching out, we need to make sure this young man gets the help he needs and this family get some much needed support.
