Hi! I’m Katie and I’ve spent the last 25 years of my life saving and helping animals as a vet tech and rescuer (of over 500 dogs!!). For 17 of those years, I’ve been teaching a high school Veterinary Science program, helping the future helpers of animals to decide what they want to do and to meet their goals in the animal world!!

As we all know, teaching doesn’t pay well. And I don’t have other financial support sources, so I also own a licensed and insured pet care and grooming business!! And - bonus - I also am a certified pet first aid and CPR instructor! I literally have no more hours in my days and need to shift my focus to keep going financially, emotionally, literally…

Recently, I purchased a small trailer for under $800 with the idea of offering mobile pet nail trims. But it needs a LOT of work (and time and energy).

I need to rewire the back lights, replace rotten sub flooring, install flooring and new wall panels, and - most expensive - sandblast and paint or wrap it. Sandblasting is about $1k and wrapping is $2k!! I’ve called so many places and got around the same estimates.

Help me to continue my mission to help as many animals as possible and to guide as many future pet caregivers as I can!!

I often give free advice on nutrition, behavior, training, and more! This trailer will allow me to not only offer nail trims, but to have the opportunity to help owners and pets across the area!
