NPS lunch assistance fund will pay for the years end balance of negative school lunch accounts. We know the town has had an issue regarding school lunch shaming. If a student has a negative balance of $11 or more, they are not allowed to buy a hot meal. Their hot meal is replaced with a cold cheese sandwich. Working with the Superintendent of schools, another resident and myself we were able to meet and collaborate together and set a plan in place where NO student will ever be food shamed again, and to ensure every student within the Northbridge Public School system receives a hot lunch. Please consider donating, with your help, we are able to complete this goal of having every child receive a hot meal lunch.
