The COVID 19 pandemic has impacted the financial and food security of many Canadians, with over 1.8 million people still unemployed in September. According to Statistics Canada 19% and 12% of Canadian households with children and without children, respectively have reported Food Insecurity.

The NNCI Gives Back (Pilot) initiative aims to help organizations across Canada battle Food Insecurity, particularly in marginalized communities and children. This is a way for us to demonstrate our commitment to living the Novo Nordisk Way and championing our social impact in the communities we live and work in.

We've chosen the following organizations to support:
1. Ontario - Peel Learning Foundation
2. Quebec - Les Club des Petits Dejeuners
3. Nova Scotia - Feed Nova Scotia
4. Alberta - Children's Village School
5. British Columbia - Backpack Buddies
