On March 28th, the largest earthquake in over a century struck Myanmar (formerly Burma) near Sagaing, with a devastating magnitude of 7.7. This has caused overwhelming destruction that has affected over 500,000 people throughout the region. Tens of thousands of homes have been destroyed, with entire villages in shambles. With over 1700 lives already lost, many more are in desperate need of aid.

As a proud Burmese-American, my heart aches for the families without food, medical assistance, and shelter. Even though so many families have been impacted, it is not too late to provide help.
