NGCFC Annual Sponsored Walk 2023

THE LEGENDARY SPONSORED WALK IS BACK FOR 2023!!

It's the summer event we all look forward to, and it's back bigger than ever this time! With the Club now providing organised football for around 200 children, including our all new girls only teams, this year's walk will be our biggest ever!

Our annual walk from Barnsley Town Hall to Woolley MW CC will take place on Saturday 17th June, with the usual watering hole refreshment breaks planned along the way!

The Club's boys and girls (aged between 5 and 18) will embark on the journey together with their families, looking to raise funds to help keep our player registration fees to what we believe to be the lowest in Barnsley, something that the club prides itself on.

Our Club has grown significantly in recent years, meaning we are positively impacting the lives of so many more people in our Community. The benefits of team sports to children are well documented, and we believe strongly that expense should not be a barrier to participation for anybody. This has become even more important in the current cost of living crisis.

Over recent years, we have averaged an annual fundraising total of £2000, and this year have set our target at an ambitious but reachable £2500!
