NCHS Aaron Hootman Memorial
Donation protected
Our friend and Newark Community High School alum, Aaron Hootman, tragically passed away Friday February 28, 2020 at Fort Collins, CO from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
To honor his life and the positive affect he had on so many through friendships, his community and serving in the US Navy, the NCHS class of 2003 is asking those (classmates and otherwise) who are able to donate towards a gift in his honor. With the funds collected, a small floral arrangement will be purchased for the funeral and the remaining funds will be donated to his son, Kanin Hootman.
Whether your memories of Aaron are from the NCHS hallways or beyond, please consider helping keep his memory alive by supporting his son thru your financial contributions. Funeral service information is below, and classmates and others are invited to Ebbey George’s in Morris (402 Liberty Street) after Thursday’s night visitation to reconnect and share our favorite memories of Aaron.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 at Peace Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Luanne Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in Plattville Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 P.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church. Military honors will be provided by the Sandwich Color Guard.
