NAHS Donation in memory of Dr. Mary Ellen Terrels

Nazareth Academy High School is a private, fully-accredited college preparatory school for young women in Philadelphia, PA. The Academy challenges each student to attain her full potential academically, spiritually and personally, through focus on service and community. The rigorous academic curriculum aims to develop life-long learners in today's global society.

 

To build on their philosophy and support their mission, our aim is to continue the legacy of Dr. Mary Ellen Terrels by donating  to the Academy's Biology Department.  Funds raised will help update the lab and purchase new equipment.

 

Qualities such as integrity, respect, love and acceptance permeate each students’ educational experience, and Dr. Terrels' dedication to the medical field is a prime example of these qualities achieved.

 

We hope by raising these funds we can inspire the next generation of women leaders and give students diverse opportunities for achievement both within and outside of the traditional classroom .
