My Beautiful Sisters Fight

My beautiful sister, Crystal has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 cervical cancer. As expected, the radiation and chemotherapy treatments are sucking up every bit of energy she has. Daily tasks are becoming more difficult for her to keep up with and due to a complication from the cancer she recently lost quite a bit of blood which required a blood transfusion. 

Crystal and her husband John, have 4 healthy and beautiful kids who range in age from 12-5. My brother in law John, is doing his best to manage everything from working 10-12 hour days, doing laundry, making dinner, feeding kids and cleaning the house so Crystal can rest and focus on her fight.

If you know Crystal, you know how strong she is. You also know how loving and caring she is to everybody- she would give you the shirt off her back if needed. Crystal is the type of person who puts her needs and wants very last- she wants to see everyone else happy- it’s what makes her happy.  Unfortunately, the hospital bills are going to start rolling in, and even with health insurance the out of pocket expenses for cancer treatments in our country are devastatingly expensive. The last thing we want is for Crystal to take focus off her fight and start stressing out about where the money for her treatments will come from.
