My Name is Michael – The story

Michael Johnson was born a paraplegic with cerebral palsy. From that day, Michael has been unable to care for himself and is utterly dependent on his Father for all of his life needs.

Michael has two primary care needs:

1. A special van built out for specific equipment and specifications by experts in special care transportation

2. A single story residence that can be designed to meet his unique care and equipment needs in Moorpark, California

Michael's Father Craig Johnson is a single dad and would appreciate any support you could offer.

Michael Today and His Future

Michael is a fun loving 16-year-old who loves to be with his family, give and get kisses and especially spend time with his father. However, it is becoming much harder to care for and transport Michael.

As time goes on, the physical toll on Michael and his caregivers will only increase.

But there is hope! With your help a Van to safely and easily transport Michael, a single story home with special equipment and built in supports and on going medical care is a reality for Michael and his family.

We are hoping to reach $94,000.00 here and all net funds will go to support purchasing a van and providing for Michael’s ongoing medical expenses.
