Hello, My name is Derik Hensley,
. I depend on use of communications technology for videophone relay app, FaceTime, communication app for use on the web-cam for deaf users. This is how I communicate with my deaf and hearing friends. It is very important to me that my means of communication can continue. I purchased a 27’ iMac in 2015. My iMac’s video card has failed, I called apple tech support, I can’t fix because AppleCare is expired and not have 2015 in stock. They told me to contact businesses that services computers. I called two different places. They said can replace video card , however, price would be $845.00 plus tax for repairs for new graphic video. I have not enough money to fix. I had to use my stimulus money we received in May, 2020 toward getting 4 tires, brakes and rotors. I am a doordash driver but I cannot make money needed to get my computer fixed. Door dash driver make money for rent, car payment, car ins. Cell phone services and food.
I am deaf and I need my computer fixed, Now I have been using my mom’s at her home for short.
