Hi, I'm Jo and a lot of you may have seen my tweet (@TheJoJoYouKnow) a few weeks ago, when I received news and learned that my mom has stage 4 cancer everywhere…breast, lung, kidneys. I went to pick her up to spend time with her when my dog scuffled with hers, badly injuring hers and accidentally biting my Mom too. Her dog, Angel, is recovering and THAT alone is a miracle. My mom's bite wounds are healing too, but, unfortunately, her cancer and kidney failure, is not, thus far. We're in for a long road ahead as she goes to dialysis 3 days/week and now will be getting chemotherapy, again. (This is her 2nd time with breast cancer and we thought it was gone).

The picture posted is my mom. I chose to forgive my mom, for a lot of stuff, and I'm just trying to enjoy her and help her and me survive this horrible time. My heart is broken.

I've never done a GoFundMe (GFM), though I have donated to some in the past. I was afraid to do so, quite frankly, as I did not want to have to ask for money or have my motives questioned. However, with everything going on, it's gotten larger than I can afford and will keep growing (the Vet bill, alone, was over $1,700). I'm just trying to raise some money to help with expenses and cover some losses. I'm running it, it will come to me through my bank account and I will be covering the bills. Hopefully, I will be able to get Medicare to cover a wheelchair for her, as her walker is no longer a viable option. I'm a mess, emotionally, but I need to be there and do whatever I can for her while being transparent with you all. Thank you so much for the outreach, comments, texts and encouraging me to even do a GFM. I so appreciate every dime!
