Wishing You All the Blessings of Peace and Prosperity

To all my friends and family, and to those who may not even know us, personally. I've recently set up this GoFundMe to help my mother, and family, in their time of need, as a terrible house fire occurred, in their attached homes, and they have suffered a great loss. Thanking God that they are even alive, today, as my 82 years old mom, happened to get up during the night, noticed smoke coming from under a door, and was able to awaken everyone else in their 3 family home, at 2AM, including their elderly landlord/neighbor. They were all truly blessed to be able to make it out, alive, into the night, in the pouring rain, with nothing but the clothes they wore. Please be so kind as to donate whatever you can, as we help them rebuild their lives, get back on their feet and into new homes, before winter approaches, God Willing. Please forgive me, but this is something one can never do alone, without the help of God, and the extended community. It's crazy how easy it is to actually become homeless, for any of us, at any time. My real hope is to be able to purchase a home for them, one day, so they would not have to rely on a landlord to keep things updated and safe, as this fire was, most likely, preventable. May God Protect us and may it be fully accepted from us, as the Quran, and Islam, encourages people to give charity.

Qur'an 64:16: "Spend in charity for your own good. He who remains safe from his own greed will prosper".

Qur'an 3:134: Charity should be given in "prosperity or adversity".

The Prophet Muhammad is also reported to have said that charity does not decrease wealth.
