I am Dr. Hassan Suleiman from Gaza Strip, married with three children. We used to live safely and peacefully in our quiet home. Our life was normal until 7/10/2023 when the situation in Gaza turned upside down with the beginning of the war. We had to evacuate our home three times to my relatives' house for over three months due to damages to our house and the lack of safety in our area.

I used to work as a doctor under the Ministry of Health in the Gaza government, earning only half a salary because the other half was diverted to debts lost due to the current government's mismanagement. Now, if available, we only receive the equivalent of $150 every two months. Life in Gaza has become like hell, with no safety, education, health, proper food, water, electricity, or other basic necessities. Children have lost their right to education, and parents have lost their right to build a future. Gaza has lost so much in this cursed war.

On a personal level, I was a partner in a project for a children's nursery. However, this nursery was bombed by the occupying forces' artillery, causing significant damage to it.

On a personal level, I suffer from severe knee pain due to ligament tears, cartilage roughness, and erosion, requiring a surgery that costs over $9000.

As you know, leaving Gaza is very difficult, almost impossible, but it's possible if you have enough money to pay the coordination fees to the Egyptian companies responsible for it, costing over $5000 per person. Such an amount doesn't come easily except through everyone's collective effort. Currently, I work as a volunteer doctor at a medical point in a displaced camp, treating sick children with the available resources.
