It's been a week since Ken has been admitted into the ICU Stroke Speciality unit at the hospital. We are doing our best to stay positive and celebrate each lil milestone. Keep the prayers coming!
The kids and I are believing and trusting in God for a new bright future. I have no idea what even the next hour holds for us, but I know God is in control! I have it together one moment and can't control the tears the next. Then sometimes I think I have it together and when I go to talk I just cry. We are trying to stay strong and positive.
Our marriage is a diamond that we might have forgotten was supposed to shine. The kids, jobs, bills, taxes, projects and pure adulting seemed to fog up our marriage. But even in our present situation, these responsibilities must still go on. I'm overwhelmed by the outpouring of LOVE and support! I am a proud person, but so humbled by everyones request of how you can help. Here I thought since I have no family close to help, what was I going to do?
All of you have been so gracious helping me and my mom with the kids care, making sure we're fed, etc... you just don't know how much this has helped me so I can focus on Ken's care. This Go Fund Me account has been set up to help with the continued care of my family and hospital expenses.
And again, I truly cannot thank you all enough. The appreciation I feel is beyond words. Kiss a lil longer, love a lil deeper and hug a lil harder.
